Phase 1: The “Shadow AI” Crisis (Your #1 Blind Spot)

The EDR Bypass

This is the EDR Bypass. Your EDR (e.g., Kaspersky, CrowdStrike) sees a 100% *trusted* process: `python.exe`.
This `python.exe` process then executes the malicious payload (a PowerShell C2 beacon) *in-memory*. This is a fileless attack. Your EDR is blind. The attacker now has a C2 beacon on your developer’s *trusted* laptop, *inside* your VPN. Game over.
Exploit Chain (Engineering)
This is a Software Supply Chain Attack & “Living off the Land” (LotL) TTP. The “exploit” is a *logic* flaw in your DevSecOps pipeline and *trust* in your EDR.
- Trigger: `pip install [malicious_model]` followed by `model.load()` in a Python script.

- Hunt TTP 3 (The C2): “Show me all *new* network connections from `python.exe` to *unknown IPs*.”
Mitigation & Hardening (The CISO Mandate)
